All of our paper grades do offer "A" size announcement envelopes. There are many colors to choose from and not all of them may be available in a specific envelope size. Q. What type of paper is recommended for commercial or business type announcements? A. CLASSIC CREST® is one of the most popular papers for any business function since it offers a wide variety of professional colors. The CLASSIC CREST® papers and matching envelopes are available in several different weights so you can mix and match according to your needs. A. A private watermark is a personalized image or mark in a sheet of paper, made during the paper making process, that is visible when the finished paper is held to the light or placed on a flat surface. A. For a localized watermark, the marks are placed specifically on the dandy roll to repeat according to the customer requirements. During manufacture, the paper shrinks and stretches to different degrees between the inside and outside edges of the machine. Localizing the product takes place during the SHEETING of the product. Rolls are sheeted very slowly one roll at a time and the equipment is especially equipped with lights and mechanisms to advance or retard the speed of the machine altering the cut off and ensuring that the mark is localized according to instructions. Because localizing takes place during the sheeting process, it is not possible to localize rolls. A. Neenah Paper owns the dandy roll. We protect the merchant who brought us the business. A. Q. Describe Neenah Paper’s Ink Jet and Laser Guarantee: A. Most paper manufactures, including Neenah Paper, choose to certify selected colors because each colored substrate is a separate certification trial. Once one color is certified, there is a high probability that other colors in that brand will have similar runnability because mechanical properties should be affected only slightly, if at all, by the presence of dyes and pigments. However, varying color substrates will change the ICC color profile settings against Pantone targets. If varying the weight, refer to the equipment manufacturer’s specification sheet for optimal limits. Neenah Paper encourages testing paper on your particular device.
