Ernest Hathaway graduated from Texas State University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in Business Administration, Following Ernest’s graduation from Texas State University, he moved to Houston Texas and worked for USIS as an investigator providing security clearance for Government supported jobs. After working as a clearance support person for over a year, he then transitioned to work with the family business as a machinery and equipment appraiser in 2011 where he worked as an apprentice under the tutelage of his step-father Gary Paselk CMEA, MCMEA, CSBA, BCA and President of Sonshine Services Inc. In 2012 Ernest joined the United States Navy and served for five years while continuing his apprenticeship under his step-father. During that time Ernest was deployed to the Persian Gulf twice, for nine months during 2013-14 and eight months during 2015-16. Ernest worked diligently as a Sailor and received advancements, including Supervisor of his division while on deployment. Unfortunately, during his deployment in 2015-16 his step-father Gary Paselk passed away leaving his machinery and equipment business to his wife and step-son Ernest Hathaway. After completing his enlistment Ernest moved to Naples Florida and incorporated on his own, starting Nationwide Equipment Appraisal. Ernest works with Nationwide Equipment Appraisal, as well as the family business of Sonshine Appraisal Services. As an appraiser Ernest is certified to appraise in all 50 states, and many countries throughout the world.
