National Young Composers Challenge, Inc., established on January 22, 2008, is a Florida-registered non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the talents of young musicians across the United States. Situated in Winter Park, Orange County, FL, with its registered address at 2009 Venetian Way, this vibrant entity supports composers aged 13 to 18 through an annual competition that garners submissions nationwide. Known for its commitment to recognizing budding talent, the Challenge receives numerous sophisticated and quality entries each year. Due to the high level of competition, only a select few winners are chosen from a list of deserving finalists every year. The organization announced the 2017 Competition winners, which were slated for performance at that year's Composium. While finalists also receive recognition, the judges ultimately select a subset as winners, listed in alphabetical order without indicating relative merit. Previously operating under the name Young Composers Challenge, Inc., this institution remains active and compliant with Florida state regulations, evidenced by its last annual report filed on March 18, 2024.
