Narconon Global Mission NARCONON’S MISSION is to provide an effective path for rehabilitation from drug abuse and to assist society in preventing the scourge of drugs worldwide. Using the evidence-based, drug-free approach to rehabilitation developed by acclaimed author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, Narconon centers help those enslaved by drugs and alcohol to build new lives filled with purpose and productivity. Our graduates return to their families and communities drug-free and in control of their lives. Narconon also provides comprehensive training to professionals and organizations seeking workable drug rehabilitation and prevention solutions. Narconon (meaning “no narcotics”) drug and alcohol rehabilitation program is open to all who desire to end their addiction and lead productive, drug-free lives. The Narconon program is based on the discoveries and writings of L. Ron Hubbard, the Founder of the Scientology religion. However, Narconon is non-religious and a person does not become a Scientologist by doing the program. Mr. Hubbard began his research into drug abuse in the 1960s. The resulting discoveries provided the means by which individuals could become free of addiction. Narconon today constitutes a worldwide network of 45 residential rehab centers. Narconon Arrowhead in Oklahoma is the Narconon network’s leading drug rehabilitation and international training center. It provides drug rehabilitation services as well as onsite training and apprenticing for drug rehab professionals from across the globe. Narconon extends its care beyond rehabilitation, reaching out to the wider community to stem drug use before it turns to abuse and addiction. Narconon drug education specialists have provided millions of young people and adults with compelling information about drugs and drug abuse to steer them away from taking drugs. The Continental Narconon center for the United Kingdom, near Maynards Green in East Sussex, spans nine acres of rolling downs and provides drug rehabilitation services as well as training and apprenticing of staff for future centers throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. The Canada Continental Narconon, located on a 43-acre, 35-room woodland estate in Ontario, provides recovery and rehabilitation from addiction as well as training and apprenticing for drug rehabilitation specialists to bring the program to new centers throughout the Canadian provinces. The Continental Narconon for Latin America provides rehabilitation and training services in a restored 19th-century Spanish Colonial hacienda in Mexico. Narconon Latin America facilities can accommodate scores of recovering addicts and rehabilitation specialists from 21 nations across Central and South America. because they learn the art and technology of living a full and productive life without drugs.
