NAMI Florida, Inc., founded on September 23, 1987, is the state affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), recognized as the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization. With its headquarters in Tallahassee, Leon County, NAMI Florida's mission is to advocate for individuals and families affected by mental illnesses across the Sunshine State. The organization encompasses 27 local affiliates, mobilizing volunteers statewide to raise awareness through education and support systems.
