Nancy began Walsh Designs in 2000, upon her graduation from the Rhode Island School of Design. With no formal design training but a keen interest and a strong desire to learn, she left her 30-year career as a Senior Retail Buyer, and took the road to RISD. The next five years was the adventure of a lifetime: what a fabulous, supportive environment to learn in! Once you’re at RISD you are living and breathing the design process and all the technical information that goes along with today’s technical world. She left RISD a digital artist with strong skills in space planning, interior design, photography, color and decorative painting.
