Although our company of developers, designers and business folks have been working together for over 13 years, DiningList is a new service. Our team has applied our deep expertise in marketplaces to create DiningList.com. The founders and developers have previously created web-based application services used by tens of thousands of eBay and PayPal sellers, along with millions of eBay and PayPal buyers from over 38 countries around the globe. The idea for DiningList.com was born out of our CEO’s “Aha!” moment. CEO Brian Lawe travels extensively for business. During his travels, he loves to discover interesting local restaurants. For two decades Lawe would turn to his rental host or hotel staff for restaurant recommendations. But, recently he found himself relying more and more on TripAdvisor or Yelp to discover such restaurants. It dawned on him that while locals always knew the best restaurants, their recommendations fell short in relaying important information guests need like maps, hours, pictures, reviews, etc. This posed an opportunity and Brian created DiningList.com to help local experts better serve their guests' needs and make money while they are doing it! And here we are, in the same boat, pulling on the same oars, making DiningList.com available for every short-term rental host, gig driver, tour guide and hotel in the world.
