MyMDHome was created to connect people who are proactive about their health with doctors who want to go back to a model of practicing medicine the way it used to be; by spending as much time as needed with patients to ensure that they get the care they need. By educating consumers on the benefits of Direct Primary Care, we can help build what is best described as a "Back To The Future" network that restores the doctor-patient relationship and results in lower healthcare costs by substantially reducing the amount of ER, Hospital and Specialist visits. MyMDHome was started by two brothers, Kevin and John Burke, who as part of the Baby Boomer generation, witnessed firsthand the personalized care- level service such as same-day appointments and house visits from your family doctor. In those days, doctors had time to give their patients the care that was needed, unlike today where you typically go to see a doctor for an appointment you booked weeks ago that typically lasts only a few minutes. > Our role as health insurance brokers is to find the most practical high deductible health plans to save consumers money. While many of these plans are not yet available, we are seeing more of the ACA Exempt health sharing plans which can offer substantial catastrophic coverage at significant savings compared to the ACA plans. We also believe there will be more affordable options for consumers, possibly Association Health Plans which could make a great combination with a DPC membership. The healthcare system is changing  because it must. We feel 2018  may just be the year the DPC movement gains some momentum. At the moment there is only one DPC practice in Palm Beach County- we would like to help change that. We provide a portal through which Patients, Doctors and Employers can easily manage My MD Home memberships. MyMDHome offers an industry standard platform for subscription management to enroll patients and employer groups. MyMDHome was formed by consumers for consumers.
