Your myDetoxHealth Doctor "Growing up, I always wanted to be a chiropractor, and now for over 10 years I go to work every day loving my job, helping people, teaching kids and adults about nutrition and their bodies, and bringing relief and better health to each and every one of my pa Dr. Angela L. Jarvis is the founder of myDetoxHealth. She is a Chiropractor, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and has her CCSP certification (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician). In addition to athletes of all ages and abilities, Dr. Jarvis treats infants, toddlers, children, adults, pregnant women, and the elderly. She uses many different adjusting techniques and soft tissue techniques to tailor the perfect adjustment for each individual. Dr. Jarvis is certified in nutritional therapy as a FirstLine Therapy Healthcare Provider through Metagenics and has many hours of post-graduate training in Nutrition and Functional Medicine. This allows Dr. Jarvis to work on many aspects of functional medicine and nutrition with her patients and design a custom and personalized plan for each person. Dr. J is an avid runner, and has completed several half-marathons.  She enjoys cooking and gardening, and shares much of her cooking expertise on Facebook, Instagram, and the myDetoxHealth blog.  Born in Minnesota, she knew the cold wasn't for her, and after living in New Jersey for 9 years has embraced beach life here in the wonderful community of Pensacola.  She launched #upsideofhealth and loves being a part of the vibrant beach life here in the upside of Florida.  She and her future husband, Roy, who is a Veteran of the Marines, are expecting their first child in August of this year.
