s as a home birth Midwife in the Miami-Dade County area, Co-owns Natural Birthworks Birthing Cottage (Broward County's Newest Birth Center) and assist other Midwives in the community when needed.  Sandra teaches childbirth education in English and Spanish, holds breastfeeding support groups, provides in office, at home or virtual lactation consultations and also hosts  breastfeeding and pumping classes in her office at Natural Birth Works. She is passionate in the education for mothers and in the well being of their families. Gelena Hinkley is a professional midwife who studied under the tutelage of renowned Midwife, Shari Daniels, at the International School of Midwifery in Miami. Gelena is a licensed midwife by the Florida Department of Health and certified as a Professional Midwife. She is also the owner and creator of Midwife 101, an online childbirth series. Gelena puts a high priority on educating her expectant mothers (and fathers) about the natural labor process and caring for baby after the birth. Aside from her love of midwifery, Gelena also enjoys helping moms learn simple ways to live and stay green. She is very proud of the garden in her backyard and is teaching her 5 children how to compost and cultivate organic fruits and vegetables. Her love for nature allows herself, her husband, and her children to live a simple, healthy and green lifestyle. Gelena is the owner & Midwife of P3birth, Co-owner of Natural Birthworks Birthing center and Assist My Mom Glow with home birth's.
