Who We Are? Muse Movement is a Central Florida Nonprofit that provides a multi-cultural arts-oriented creative space designed to enhance self awareness and enlighten minds. Since its inception in 2014, Muse Movement has garnered a strong following and continues to fulfill its mission, as evidenced by the success of one of our programs known as Art from the Heart. The Art from the Heart initiative has utilized the visual arts to provide comfort and inspiration to OH Cancer patients who are struggling against the harrowing physical and emotional effects of cancer. “Art from the Heart” is a core Muse Movement initiative that aims to take art to areas where members of the community need healing, such as foster homes, shelters, and hospitals. We are looking for compassionate, caring volunteers seeking to make a difference in the Central Florida community and beyond. Currently, The Art from the Heart initiative has utilized the visual arts to provide comfort and inspiration to OH Cancer patients who are struggling against the harrowing physical and emotional effects of cancer. “The volunteers from MUSE provide a much needed service to our chemotherapy patients at the UFHCC clinic in Ocoee. Through their efforts, patients are brought comfort and compassion as they are treated in the infusion clinic. Through the means of an art cart and projects, MUSE volunteers provide a therapeutic distraction, a healing presence and an empathetic ear for the patients. We are an organization focusing on increasing community service in the community through working with cancer patients and doing art by their side.
