At Mudge Metalcraft , we are all committed to making your job our first priority, and to do your work to the highest industry standards. Jay Mudge, the owner, has over 29 years experience in all phases of metal work, from the initial bid to the complex layout of curved rails for fabrication, to the safe installation of our products, and is an active member of the National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Assoc. and Abana, the Artist-Blacksmith's Association of North America, and FABA, Florida Artist Blacksmith's Association. Jay Mudge has attended numerous seminars to develop additional blacksmithing techniques for his original work. Jay Mudge started in the ornamental metal field in 1978 with a well established structural and ornamental fabricator. I started as a private subcontractor to do installations. Then I moved into the office in 1980 and was in charge of all residential custom design, fabrication, and installation. I worked my way up to become the Sales Manager of the Ornamental department there. In 2000 I decided to start my own business and opened up my own fabrication shop. Since that time I have had an opportunity to design and fabricate many unusual and interesting jobs. I have sent my artistic designs to Michigan (cluster of roses); Tennessee (elk head left & right, copper & bronze reposee), Wyoming (copper rail for a spiral stair), Iowa (custom rail and spiral stair), Barbados (Sandy Lane hotel rail samples). We are active members in               MUDGE METALCRAFT Welcome to Mudge Metalcraft's new website!  Mudge Metalcraft has been my company since 2000. We specialize in custom metal fabrications and specialize in bronze, steel, and aluminum materials. Mudge Metalcraft was started by Jacob Mudge in 2000. I personally started metal working in 1978. To advance my abilities, I have attended numerous forging workshops including those held by Uri Hoffi. Mudge Metalcraft, has received many top job awards from NOMMA. We are very experienced in bronze forge work, and have completed projects in the eastern United States as well as in Caribbean locations.
