WHO WE ARE MPG Industries was established in 1981. The Company began manufacturing in 1982 when their toll manufacturer was unable to provide product to MPG’s customers in a timely manner. The first product made by MPG was a dry film concrete release agent called DROP OUT. This product was sold nationally and distributed out of a rented facility for six years. As a result of the success of DROP OUT, we expanded into other products and services. In 1987, the current plant was purchased in Joliet, Illinois, where our growth continues. Our future plans are to expand within our existing lines of Products and Services. We are committed to upholding our most cherished products in every product formulation and task we take on. MPG provides additives and services for the Metalworking industry. We provide state-of-the-art raw materials needed to build and improve intermediates and finished products. We are a Specialty Chemicals manufacturer located in Joliet, Illinois. Our plant and corporate offices are located within minutes of the intersection of two major Interstate Highways (I-80 & I-55). A southwest suburb of Chicago, Joliet is an industrial center that provides access to all different modes of transportation. This allows us to supply customers worldwide.
