The visionary behind the boutique marketing strategy agency, her creative journey began when she became obsessed with photography at the age of 7. By the time she was 15 she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the arts, journalism and marketing and has been working in some capacity in all three areas for 20 years. Angela followed her passions to the globally acclaimed Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and went on to work in her chosen field. A serial entrepreneur, at 22 she co-founded Extrovert Magazine; a multi-language fashion, art and travel online magazine that was read in 55 countries. She later founded a creative design agency, True Moxie, specializing in brand development and art direction, offering services in graphic design, website design and photography. She has worked as an art director for McClatchy Company, as a fashion and editorial photographer, a copywriter and graphic designer for a PR firm and a chief marketing officer and practice manager of an acclaimed healthcare clinic. In recent years, Angela worked exclusively with Rebel Athletic as the Vice President of Sales, Brand Development and Marketing, stepping into the full time role at the time of the company's launch. One of the pioneers of this cheerleading fashion apparel brand, she built a nimble sales team and fostered an environment of passion and shared vision while simultaneously leading a fiercely creative marketing team. The production from the two teams elevated the company from a small start-up to an established industry challenger brand nearing 20 million in annual revenue. Rebel evolved into a memorable global brand that empowered young women and girls to be idiosyncratic trendsetters; and by guiding the customer (young athletes) to be the hero of their own story. Angela's passion at Moxie Brands lies in creating a strategy to help brands tell their story. She is dedicated to being a boutique agency - only accepting a limited number of clients at a time. Shane Womack is a social media and influencer marketing expert with a passion for traveling and marketing to Millennials and Generation Z. After studying marketing at LSU he relocated to Atlanta and quickly climbed the ranks to VP of Sales and Marketing for Inside Publications where he oversaw the business development and marketing of seven niche titles. During his nine years with Inside publications he spearheaded noteworthy successful marketing endeavors including a social media influencer campaign with college and allstar cheerleaders called 'Team IC' which is still utilized today. He also launched an extensive online video platform for InsideGymnastics.com in time for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. In 2015 he narrowed his focus completely to competitive cheerleading news, media and advertising when he launched Cheer Media, a multi-media company with 2 printed publications, an online platform and an influencer agency called CheerfluenceTM. He is a partner in multiple business endeavors within the cheer and dance industry and works as a marketing consultant to a variety of organizations. At Moxie Brands, Shane leads our social media marketing, influencer marketing and systematic marketing projects. He is also part of the board of directors of CheerDaily.com Edie George is an experienced brand strategist and copywriter with a passion for working with not only startups and challengers, but also industry leaders looking to metamorphose. Starting in advertising with Young & Rubicam in New York and Hong Kong, she next started her own consulting business where she worked with various advertising and marketing agencies in Australia. During this time, she consulted on several projects for the Australian Government and other high-profile businesses. Recently relocating to Dallas, TX to pursue her not-so-secret love of competitive cheerleading, she consulted with a cheerleading uniform company to develop their international business, a role that led her to her current career with Moxie Brands. Edie combines her talents as a copywriter and brand strategist with her exceptional time management and organizational skills; resulting in her wearing a lot of hats at Moxie. All of which are probably black... and maybe studded. Aside from project management for our marketing strategy clients, Edie is also the Managing Editor of the online media platform CheerDaily.com and Editor in Chief of the 2018 College Scholarship Guide for Cheerleading.
