(MCR) is a national executive search firm, in business since 1995 providing services to healthcare organizations, including provider, payer and healthcare supporting companies. We offer 100 collective years of leadership experience in health systems and over 50 years of experience in complex recruitment of healthcare professionals and executives. Paula Morgan put the “Morgan” in Morgan Consulting Resources when she founded the firm in 1995. Since then, she has matched numerous talented healthcare executives with leading healthcare companies. Before founding Morgan Consulting Resources, Paula served in senior leadership positions with Sierra Health Services (now part of UnitedHealth Group), the largest managed care organization in Nevada. Along with matching talent to organizations, Paula adds value to the healthcare industry through her involvement in numerous organizations, such as the American College of Medical Practice Executives, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Of particular importance to her is the nursing profession. Paula has helped raise funds for nursing scholarships for aspiring nurses who would otherwise be unable to pursue their professional dreams, and she is an active member of the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition Education Task Force, focused on issues around nursing education. Principal and Senior Vice President of Business Development Lu is one of our resident experts on health insurance products—and the challenges associated with finding the right employees for a rapidly expanding organization. Just ask her what it was like to help manage a division of UnitedHealth group that grew from 10 to approximately 1,800 employees in just six years. Before joining Morgan Consulting Resources, Lu held executive-level sales and product positions with OptumHealth Specialty Benefits (a division of UnitedHealth Group) and ING Employee Benefits Global Network. She knows what it takes to thrive in a competitive market, having managed a business unit with responsibility for both top- and bottom-line results. She also really knows the healthcare industry. Before joining Morgan Consulting Resources, Rosie spent over 15 years focused on health benefits, managed care, and worker’s compensation. She created new product lines, improved the efficiency of existing programs, and—what she’s most known for—developed people who worked under her to help them realize their potential. Beyond her work at Morgan Consulting Resources, Rosie focuses much of her energy on improving her community. She is a founding member of Nevada Executive Women in Healthcare, and she works to improve educational opportunities for children in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas. And whenever she gets the chance, she spends time outdoors and makes a point of getting away from the Las Vegas desert to enjoy quiet sunrises on the beach. A recruiter who’s been a hiring executive, Lynn brings the client perspective to her role with Morgan Consulting, along with her experience managing the recruiting and selection division for the City of Las Vegas Human Resources Department. The varying hiring needs of the city’s 22 departments honed the skills Lynn brings to executive search. She’s keenly aware that recruiting the right person for a health care leadership role is a combination of art and science. Lynn’s expertise lies in her ability to help clients define their priorities and the necessary qualifications and desired talents in their candidate. Her Bachelor’s degree (UNLV) in Workforce Development provides a framework for her strategic perspective on the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to building great organizations through engaging the right talent. Lisa became Morgan Consulting Resources’ first mile-high recruiter when she opened the firm’s Denver office in 2004. Before that, she worked in the firm’s San Francisco offices for four years. And before that, she worked as an investment professional, most recently with Montgomery Asset Management, where she built trusting relationships with high-net-worth clients to help manage their portfolios. The experience of earning the trust of clients with a great deal at stake served Lisa well as she transitioned into recruiting. Today, Lisa loves how she gets to know each candidate she works with and helps him or her find the best fit—that perfect job that matches the candidate’s talents, priorities, and lifestyle factors with the needs of the healthcare client. She looks beyond the resume and position requirements to see how skills and experience, applied in a new way, can create something well beyond the expected. Donna brings the perspective of administration, analysis, and accounting to the Morgan Consulting Resources team. Her solid management background in financial, strategic planning, operations, sales, and customer service provides a foundation for executive recruitment grounded in the realities of the business environment. She thinks on her feet and welcomes the many challenges that come with a growing enterprise. As a member of the Morgan Consulting Resources team since 2004, Donna integrates her business perspective along with a background in medical, ophthalmology, and radiology practices. She excels at taking on projects that add to the efficiency and evolution of our firm, and she enjoys venturing into analytical projects to find the story in the data. With an eye for detail, Donna has a talent for coordinating complex processes from internal operations to executive search.
