Moore’s Grading was a childhood dream that I knew one day would become a reality. In January of 1998 that reality of owning my own company officially began, with the purchase of a new John Deere Skid Steer (887S). I began to do small jobs around town such as putting out mulch, gravel and backfill around houses. This led to the purchase of an International Dump Truck, in which I hired out to other companies to haul dirt, gravel, topsoil or anything that they wanted hauled. As I look back now I can see that hand raking that small yard, and hauling that one load of mulch to that elderly lady all paid off in the end. The key to the success of Moore’s Grading has been hard work and having great employees. Our guys are the best at what they do, and I feel blessed that each one has been placed in my life. Most of my employees have been here from the beginning or shortly thereafter. Each employee takes great pride in the equipment, their job performance and the company’s reputation. The employees always put the customer first and are neat and respectable at all times.
