Moore Color is owned and operated by Bruce Moore. Bruce started his career 25 years ago in antique restoration, working across the Midwest and Texas on many historic projects. A few of the most memorable experiences include a Carnegie Library restoration, the rebuilding of a Frisco train depot, refurbishment of a civil war era home that was part of the underground railroad and refinishing of two furniture pieces for display at the Smithsonian Museum. He's also been involved in numerous church renovations, specializing in gold gilding and faux finishing. Bruce relocated to central Florida in 2001 and has partnered with area designers, architects, builders and homeowners on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including Parade of Homes winners in Lake, Sumter, Volusia, and Highlands counties and participation in the 2007 Street of Dreams showcase. Moore Color places a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. Bruce continually updates his education by attending classes and workshops to stay current with new finishing techniques and innovative environmentally friendly products. He is a member of the Society of Gilders, IDAL (International Decorative Artisans League), Professional Decorative Artisans in Orlando, Art Fusion, and the Gilder's Cafe.
