The Moonlight Players (a non-profit organization), was founded by Jan Sheldon and Sara Ackers in the city of Clermont, FL. With a monetary birthday gift from Jan’s dad, the original Moonlight Players decided their first production would be
, directed by Jan and music directed by Sara. Other members involved in that very first play were Chris Walsh and Lee Matheny on light design, and Diana White and Bonny Rae on costume design.
