Our Philosophy Our Philosophy MSO follows the philosophy of Maria Montessori, one of the most important educators of our time, who emphasized the need for early education. She wrote, “The most important period of life is not the university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed.” We truly believe that a well-prepared environment will foster the child’s highest potential–spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually. When these needs are met, children radiate with excitement, inspiring them to play and work with enthusiasm, to learn, and to create. They exhibit a desire to teach, to help, and to care for others and for their environment. The children are encouraged to teach, collaborate, and help each other. We provide a safe, nurturing environment to all of our students. The mixed-age group creates self-confidence for the older ones by being able to be a role model and help the younger ones. Our highly trained and certified Montessori teachers are dedicated to help foster your child’s growth and development academically, emotionally, and socially. My daughter has been learning a lot since she started in school, almost a year ago. Currently she is 3 years old and she is able to count to 35 and is starting to read small words such as bat, mat, cat and pat. She also makes 60 pieces puzzles. Her teachers Mrs. Shariq and her assistant Mrs. Alao are very loving with all the children. The classroom has developed a strong bond based on love, friendship and respect. Montessori school of Orlando has been a blessing for us because its method allows my daughter to progress at her own pace and let us identify areas that she needs more help. Just wanted to thank everyone especially Director Mrs. Esguerra for all the support and love they have given to my child Amira.
