Mohawk Valley Materials, Inc. (Mohawk) began as Mohawk Valley Mulch, Inc. in April 2007, providing bulk landscape supply materials to both commercial and residential entities. Today, Mohawk is a a small woman-owned business headquartered in Marcy, NY with two locations in Rome, NY and a satellite office in Freeport, FL. In addition to the locations noted, Mohawk has staff members working on-site with our clients nationwide. Mohawk has expanded its services to provide specialty construction services to government and commercial entities nationwide, including multiple Army Installations, Hurricane Sandy cleanup efforts, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, to name a few. Our services include land clearing, excavation, site development, site preparation, grounds maintenance services, snow removal services, green waste and recycling services, and material supply. Mohawk is a certified federal Woman-owned Small Business. We are also certified by the State of New York as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Our 8(a) certification is in progress. Mohawk is known for quality services delivered on time and on budget – every time.
