Modern Widows Club, Inc. (MWC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows worldwide through advocacy and community support. Founded in response to the significant global issue of widowhood affecting approximately 245 million women, MWC's mission is to empower widows by encouraging them to embrace life, build resilience, and channel their potential for positive societal impact. MWC focuses on a wide range of research-based analyses including sociology, positive psychology, physiological effects of grief, and more to support widows in overcoming the social stigma, economic challenges, emotional distress, and spiritual isolation they often face.
