Who We Are Attorney Mark K. McCulloch practices criminal defense and appellate advocacy. He attended law school at the Barry University School of Law in Orlando. While in law school, he worked full-time as a litigation paralegal and clerk for a prestigious Orlando law firm, learning first-hand the skills it takes to be an accomplished and respected litigator. He attended law school at night. Mr. McCulloch ran a successful criminal defense practice in western Massachusetts, gaining valuable experience in the courtroom, before joining a national appellate litigation firm where he represented clients before nearly all of the Federal Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court. Most recently, Mr. McCulloch was the senior associate at a small Orlando litigation practice. While there, he represented clients in state and federal court pursuing direct appeal and post-conviction relief in Florida and Pennsylvania. MKM LAW PLLC Your case doesn't end when a jury announces a guilty verdict. Important work remains at the trial level to prepare for sentencing and prepare for a direct appeal. The appellate process can provide relief in the form of an acquittal, a new trial, or a reduction in sentence.
