The Academy consists of five programs throughout the year across Georgia which focus on three core elements: leadership, government, and policy. Participants gain the skills to become effective leaders and decision makers as they learn to navigate the world of public service. We are proud to partner with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at the University of Georgia to provide the curriculum for the program. The mission of the Miller Leadership Academy is to prepare young professionals for successful careers in public service The Miller Institute is an independent entity that works with strategic partners across Georgia to educate the public on the Miller record. Specifically, the Miller Institute aims to achieve its mission through two primary initiatives: the Miller Leadership Academy and Miller Annual Meeting.
