As far back as Miguel can remember, he was drawn to the asphalt maintenance industry.  He grew up working in his father’s business -- manufacturing precast structures such as catch basins, manhole covers and parking bumpers used by paving contractors. As he got to know the people working in the asphalt maintenance industry, and the more he learned from them, the more he knew that asphalt maintenance was his future.  He spent summer vacations striping, marking and signing parking lots and roadways.  He and his brother Eduardo worked diligently, absorbing all they could about the business and when they felt they were ready they opened Miguel Lopez, Jr. Asphalt Maintenance.
