We contend that a child may confront as many critical decisions in a single chess game as they may face in the course of an entire month in the real world. We consistently highlight the parallels of student’s choices on the board with their choices in life. In this way ,the lessons they glean from their setbacks and triumphs on the chess board can improve and transform their decision-making and character in the real world. We are devoted to the development of life skills and student academic success. Our aim is to give students in the K-8th grades confidence that they can learn the strategies and techniques of chess and apply them to every area of their lives. Private one-on-one coaching is available from our Chess tutors. Our private tutoring will be tailored to the specific needs, goals, learning capacity and temperament of your child. Such personalized curriculum and consideration provides attention not possible in a large group setting. The student’s learning is therefore greatly accelerated. We also offer lessons to adult, and more advanced students.
