Among the childhood memories of cousins Keith Menin and Jared Galbut is a family chore: tending the front desk of their uncle’s Shelborne South Beach. With exposure to the regimen of a hotel operator by way of the family business, the cousins shared similar vision for their future in the hospitality industry. In 2005, they joined forces and acquired Sanctuary South Beach and focused their dynamic energy into a successful all-suite boutique hotel. Realizing the potential of their partnership in this field, the two established Menin Hospitality. Since the beginning, elevating the guest experience has been our true mission at Menin Hospitality. With family roots embedded in South Florida’s hotel industry, Keith began to learn the fundamentals of hotel operations at 15 when he started his hospitality career at tending the front desk of Shelborne South Beach. At the time, his uncle and mentor Russell Galbut, managing partner of Crescent Heights®, one of the nation’s largest developers, was operating the hotel and took Keith under his wing exposing him to the hotel industry. Keith then enrolled in the prestigious hotel school at Cornell University and upon graduation joined forces with his cousin, Jared Galbut, who shared a similar vision for their future within hospitality. The duo formed Menin Hospitality and began to expand rapidly. We are thrilled at the positive growth of the company and the opportunity to bring the authentic concepts to more neighborhoods both within our South Florida community and beyond. Jared Galbut, Managing Principal of Menin Hospitality, was literally born into the industry as the nephew of Russell Galbut, founder of Crescent Heights®, one of the nation’s largest developers of high-rise, multifamily housing and hotels in Miami Beach. Jared started in the business at the early age of 15, working in acquisitions which later led him through school and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Miami.
