In the beginning, two backyard pitmasters were just joining together to take our love of BBQ to a new level by creating a competition BBQ team.  To enter our first competition, we needed a team name.  Dozens of names were thrown out but the one we kept coming back to was Megabyte BBQ.  It represented the team well because technology is a part of our everyday lives.  Jeff owns a computer store and Chris owns a land surveying business.  Now, BBQ isn’t just a weekend passion it’s an obsession for perfection. What happens when you get two businessmen together, sitting around at a competition, drinking a few beers and talking about BBQ – ideas start floating around about opening a new business together.  The conversation starts to drift away from how to choose the ideal smoker, blending the right spices to please the palette or achieving the perfect brisket or money muscle.  That’s how we decided to open a BBQ supply store to share our knowledge and BBQ passion. Our store aims to be a one stop shop for both the BBQ enthusiast and the competitor.  The products we sell in our store are sourced from all areas of the United States that BBQ is considered a necessity of the food chain.  We carry spices, injections and sauces from Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. All of our products are used by us either in competition or for feeding our families who have become our best critics when we are testing recipes.
