Our operations leadership and management team provides: The Medusind Leadership Team With an immense depth of healthcare and technology experience, our management team ensures that Medusind remains a results-driven organization at the forefront of the industry. Vipul is co-founder of Medusind. He is an experienced general management executive accomplished at growing and managing high performance, complex-process production and service delivery operations. He has run large organizations with multiple facilities; cross-functional teams and is well versed with pressures of dealing with challenging US clients. Prior to Medusind, he promoted and ran a real estate development and construction business in Gujarat, India and established a precision manufacturing business as well. He was also instrumental in growing an engineering services business. Earlier, he has held marketing positions with Mudra Communications and Grofed. Vipul holds an MBA from South Gujarat University and a B.S in Physics from St Xaviers College, Gujarat University. Bala Iyer, as CIO at Medusind is responsible for and heads Software Development and IT infrastructure. Bala brings with him over 25 years of experience in Software Product development and IT infrastructure in Aerospace, Telecom and Healthcare industries. At Spar Aerospace, he was responsible for Controls and Software for the Space Station Freedom program by NASA. While at Nortel Networks, he provided leadership and direction in wireless and wireline switching. In the healthcare arena, he worked for Allscripts and McKesson in Software Product Development (Practice Management, Electronic Health Records and Care Coordination products). Bala worked in the US, Canada and New Zealand and holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Victoria. Dhiren is one of the co-founding team members of Medusind. Prior to Medusind, he was the Controller for eVentures India, a venture capital fund setup by Newscorp and Softbank. Dhiren has also worked as a Senior Associate with Bank of America and is a Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) by profession. Dhiren has a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in India and the US and also leads most of the strategic initiatives at Medusind. Kranti heads the Human Resources at Medusind. She has been greatly instrumental in setting up a functional HR Department within the company. She has over 23 years of HR experience in varied sectors such as Construction, Engineering, IT and Business Consulting. She has headed the HR and allied functions in various organizations that she has worked for which include big names like Patni Computer Systems and Bristlecone, a 1000-employee Mahindra Group Company. She has been a trainer for years. She is well versed with various quality systems like ISO, TQM, SEI CMM, PCMM, CMMi, Six Sigma etc. Kranti is a science graduate and holds a MBA in HR. Robert, fondly called Bob, heads our US offices and is responsible for all sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining Medusind, he spent more than 25 years in the healthcare field holding senior management positions in a number of healthcare companies. As Founder and President of Hamilton Computer, he brought that company to prominence in providing software to the dental profession. He also served as Executive VP of Quality Systems Inc. a publicly held leading provider of medical and dental practice management systems. In a consulting role, he assisted Discus Dental in bringing its consumable and software products to the dental group marketplace and Software of Excellence, a New Zealand publicly traded company where he successfully brought their healthcare software products to the commercial, university and public health markets. During his time with these companies he participated in four acquisitions allowing the respective companies to build a base for future growth. He also served as President of Volt Computer Services and Executive Vice President of Sandata, Inc. Bob has a degree in Mathematics & Statistics from Hunter College, New York.
