Chris Sangiorgio has been in the business of creating websites since 2006. He got his start as a web developer from a recommendation from an old friend who gave him some web development software and gave him a quick run-though of how to work it. He started reading and watching hundreds of tutorials online for years. He took a few classes, and soon after, he secured a few high-profile clients as freelance work. Where he was comfortable, and doing what he loved to do.
Now serving as the Director of Digital Advertising at MediaZoom. Chris enjoys helping out other companies achieve success with their advertising and marketing needs. He oversees all of the firms operations; acts as an art director for all of the agencies operations, acts as a technical director for all of the agencies web and software development work, and works as a web developer to set up the framework and designs for all of the agencies website development work.
Although Chris's strengths lie in web development, he is also skilled in; Art Direction, Graphic Design, Advertising, Internet Marketing, Video Production, Motion Graphics, Photography, Game Development, Programming, Painting/Drawing, 3D Modeling and Animation, and Music Production.
I have been working in Graphic Design for roughly 7 years. I started my love of this field when i was roughly 12 years old, when I first learned how to use Photoshop. When I got into highschool I started my official journey in learning Graphic Design. I am profecient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. I also dabble with other programs as I am learning how to use them effectively. Photography, painting, writing, and printmaking are some of the lovely hobbies I enjoy outside of my profession. Writing is perhaps one of the most beneficial hobbies of mine due to helping me create clever, and well written content in my graphic art. I feel it is not only the images which can provoke a strong message, but also the words. I am effectively able to use both of these aspects to create a strong message.
My design (like almost all designers) has a distinctive style to it; one that has been developing over the years and continues to develop today. I do believe however, that my design style is extremely flexible. No matter what company, idea or concept I am asked to create, there are no limits to what my imagination can come up with. This is perhaps what has attracted me to this feild so strongly; the ability to be flexible and creative in so many different ways. It is very much like a puzzle which is never completely solved. There are far too many solutions to a given problem, which allows a wide variety of options to be available. It is quite an adventure to find as many solutions as possible though.
Outside of my art life I am an avid reader. I enjoy learning about many different things, which help me to be futher knowledgable about many different aspects. I enjoy sports and spend a majority of time outside. I try my best to spend at least an hour outdoors a day. I feel it is important to take some time to yourself everyday, most especially after a hard and trying day. I am actively interested in the events going on in the world, and I often times enjoy trying to spread the word out about different causes. I have started using my Graphic Design talents to create powerful messages about these causes in order to help spread the word about them. In doing this I feel like I am able to give back..
