Med One Group is one of the largest independent medical equipment leasing and rental companies in the healthcare industry. With nearly 30 years in business, Med One has served over half of the nation’s acute care hospitals and many other healthcare facilities with leasing, rental, sales and service solutions. We make medical equipment available with simple processes and dedicated service. Med One provides medical equipment vendors with custom and simple leasing solutions, giving them a strategic selling advantage. We understand the challenges that equipment vendors and hospitals face and provide creative financing options when cash is not available for purchase. Our strategic vendor partners utilize our solutions to sell more equipment and increase business. Med One also provides rental equipment to facilities across the country. We specialize in renting and selling infusion pumps, ventilators, patient monitors, beds and more. With multiple locations across the country, we offer peak need, long term, and custom rental options that work best within the facility’s budget. We also offer certified biomedical services, ensuring equipment is always tested, clean, and patient ready. In 2017 Med One Capital officially changed its name to Med One Group. The name has changed but the strength of our brand is the same. Creativity, Simplicity and Responsiveness still drive everything we do. Our Mission Making Medical Equipment Available Med One Group exists for the sole purpose of making needed equipment available to a variety of industries with innovative, creative, responsive and flexible equipment acquisition solutions. Originally known as Med One Capital, Med One Group was established in 1991 as a privately-owned business with its corporate offices now located in Sandy, Utah. Med One was founded by Larry Stevens and Brent Allen. After recognizing the needs of healthcare providers, they decided to focus on making medical equipment available through simple leasing, rental, and sales solutions. Med One has created valuable relationships with industry-leading medical equipment companies to provide funding solutions for the products they sell. These vendor partnerships have been instrumental and have allowed us to work with over half of the nation’s hospitals. With significant growth in the leasing industry came the need to update our services. We responded by entering the short-term equipment rental business as well as offering biomedical services. With a focus on critical-care equipment, we have built a large inventory that is available to healthcare facilities in need of patient ready devices. Med One Group has since grown to include multiple locations across the country. We have expanded our rental capabilities by adding offices in Northern and Southern California, Georgia, and Texas, with various rental partners across the country. Since 2009 we have offered direct sales to hospitals and other care facilities, primarily selling pre-owned equipment certified by our biomedical staff. We have also expanded to serve customers internationally providing equipment to those with limited access. In 2017 we officially changed our name from Med One Capital to Med One Group. The name has changed but the strength of our brand is still the same. Creativity, Simplicity and Responsiveness still drive everything we do. Larry believes that the equipment leasing and finance business is the most dynamic and diverse business in the world. He has always enjoyed the challenge of structuring a transaction in a way that would secure the investment for those providing the money, while at the same time accommodating the needs of the customer. Focusing on medical equipment and specifically our customer base of acute care hospitals has allowed Med One Group to become a truly unique company that actually serves the needs of its customers. In June 2012 Larry and his partner Brent Allen were honored as winners of the Ernst and Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for Utah in the Healthcare Services Division. Brent has a love for working with people, as well as a desire to help customers acquire equipment through creative financing. He believes there will always be a need for innovative solutions to help customers expand by acquiring capital equipment, and he looks forward to furthering Med One Group's success. In June 2012 Brent and his partner Larry Stevens were honored as winners of the Ernst and Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for Utah in the Healthcare Services Division. Troy Tait joined Med One Group in April 1994 and is currently the Senior Vice President of Customer Care. He earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Utah. Troy decided early on that he wanted a career in the medical field and has been involved in just about every aspect of the field, from treating patients to selling surgical items to administrative services. Within Med One, Troy has experience within several different areas of the company. This has given him a strong understanding of the processes at Med One and benefits him as he works closely with various departments. Troy has been instrumental in creating a strong presence for Med One in the industry. Mark came to Med One Group in September 2001. Having been exposed to the business industry for most of his life, Mark always wanted to pursue a career in this field. He attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is currently Med One's Vice President of Operations. With this title comes the responsibility of managing Med One's lease portfolio: overseeing accounts receivable and protecting Med One's assets and making sure customers are happy with their experience with Med One.
