MCM TV Group is a consulting firm that provides services in sales, marketing, promotion, as well as negotiations of content acquisition and distribution for Free TV, Pay TV, PPV, and VOD channels along with technology companies in Latin America, the Caribbean and U.S. MCM TV Group works with its affiliates as consultants on content packaging and to supplement its content partners’ sales efforts or provide Affiliate sales along with marketing support. Provides consulting services and distribution of technology companies to all distribution platforms in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. MCM TV Group provided content consulting services to IPTV Americas to build their content transport rights and assisted mobile content distribution for companies such as ROK Entertainment in the UK. MCM TV Group has distribution rights for Stingray Digital’s portfolio of products including Stingray Music Audio channels and Stingray Concerts as well as Vivicast Media for the Latin American region. Mr. Chico has more than 20 years of experience in territory management, prospecting strategies, customer service, and a consistent record in surpassing sale benchmarks. He founded MCM Television Group, Inc. (“MCM”) in 2001, a consulting firm that provides services in sales, marketing and promotion to broadcast, pay television channels and technology companies in Latin America and the Caribbean. As President of MCM, Mr. Chico successfully launched the National Geographic Channel, Fox News and Speed Channel, and re-launched Fox Sports Channel as well as USA Networks, securing full distribution of all channels in Colombia. At MCM, Mr. Chico has also represented Lindsay Broadband, Inc., (“Lindsay”), a Canadian Technology Company specializing in RF distribution products for CATV and wire communications industries. MAKING THINGS HAPPEN Prior to MCM, Mr. Chico served as Director of Sales for Discovery Channels Latin America/Iberia where he managed the sales and distribution of the company’s programming to the free and pay TV markets in the region. He was an integral part of the original executive team that developed, launched and penetrated the Latin American/Iberia marketplace with new channels (Discovery Kids, Animal Planet, People & Arts, Discovery Health, and Travel & Adventure) achieving sales of over $20 million. In addition, Mr. Chico was actively involved in trade forums and advisories regarding Piracy issues in the region. Mr. Chico also acted as Vice President of Sales at Casa Lee, Inc. of Puerto Rico, a diversified company where he was responsible for the banking, government and telecommunication industries in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean increasing profits over 50%.
