In 2013, McCann Design Group opened the store HIVE HOME, GIFT & GARDEN in West Palm Beach. HIVE is a home emporium filled with carefully-chosen collections of furniture, lighting, home accessories, gifts, stationery and plants. Each piece of merchandise at HIVE has been hand-picked by Sara and her design team, reflecting their impeccable aesthetic for home and living. Sara began her professional career in the Executive Training Program at Neiman Marcus. She remained in the field of luxury retail and eventually moved to Palm Beach to open a new store on Worth Avenue. Soon after, she met her husband, Jim McCann, a prominent real estate broker. Sara and Jim built and renovated a succession of homes in Palm Beach which provided Sara the opportunity to demonstrate her natural flair for interior design. In 2000, Sara established McCann Design Group. Since that time, her passion and vision have guided the exciting growth of its reputation, staff and projects. Years of living and entertaining in Palm Beach have honed her expertise for designing homes that are meant for living, with interiors that flow beautifully and function flawlessly. The 2013 opening of her store, HIVE HOME, GIFT & GARDEN, created a showcase for her fresh, appealing style and allowed it to be enjoyed by an ever-growing clientele.
