McAbee Architects, Inc. specializes in church architecture, but has provided architectural services on many different types of projects throughout it’s 18 year history. Our small, experienced professional staff will handle your project personally - it will not be handed-off to inexperienced entry level employees. David McAbee brings 32 years of experience to your project and specializes in building code compliance. He is a state certified plans examiner and provides this service to a local city building code department. This knowledge and ability to work with the code authorities will ensure that your project does not experience delays in the permitting process nor unexpected costly code mandated changes after the drawings are completed. David worked for other architectural firms for over 14 years before founding McAbee Architects in 1999. His focus is always on client satisfaction and service. His goal is to provide timely, functional, economical and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions to his clients. Melissa Guthrie joined the firm in 2002, and brings 20 years of experience to your project. She is currently licensed in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. She provides our clients with outstanding service and brings to the table the highest attention to detail and design.
