He is responsible for developing the firm’s technology strategy and intellectual property, overseeing delivery of innovative and cost effective solutions to clients, providing thought leadership in the industry, and managing the firm’s portfolio of strategic alliance partners. His contributions also include helping to establish and cultivate new accounts to drive growth, launching a corporate Competency Center of Excellence, and developing go-to-market technology strategies that strengthen the firm’s competitiveness and position Attain for success. Dr. Szykman holds Ph.D. and Master of Science degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Engineering Management degree from the George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester. With a reputation of excellence for leadership in government information technology, he has been recognized with awards including the AFFIRM Executive Leadership award in Information Resources Management, the AFCEA Bethesda Government-wide Initiatives Excellence Award for Efficiency and Value Creation, the GTRA Excellence in Efficiency Award, the Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader Award, and the Department of Commerce Bronze Medal Award.
