., a business born of a dream come true and from the vision, committed action, and support system I call my husband, family & friends. While excelling in design school, I simultaneously worked in the kitchen and bath department of a very popular home supply retailer, where I gained an appreciation for working with clients and sales. Not long into this job, a client introduced me to the owner a custom cabinet shop in Winter Park, Florida. I made contact with this company to express my desire to work in a company that would allow me to more fully utilize my creative design talents. I was hired and was very soon managing a wide variety of clientele that ranged from very elite, high-end NFL stars, to fortune 100 executives, to the everyday Florida couple. I learned how to accurately measure job sites, work hand-in-hand with fabricators of custom cabinets, and project manage multiple multi-million dollar homes at the same time. Although this position was extremely fast-paced and rewarding, it was cut short due to the loss of business associated with the housing market decline in 2008.
