Martin Midstream Partners L.P. is a publicly traded limited partnership with a diverse set of operations focused primarily in the United States Gulf Coast region. Our four primary business lines include: Terminalling, storage and packaging services for petroleum products and by-products including refining, blending and packaging of finished lubricants Sulfur and sulfur-based products gathering, processing, manufacturing, marketing and distribution including fertilizer manufacturing and distribution Marine transportation services for petroleum products and by-products The petroleum products and by-products we collect, transport, store and distribute are produced primarily by the independent oil and gas companies who often turn to third parties, such as us, for the transportation and disposition of these products. In addition to these major and independent oil and gas companies, our primary customers include independent refiners, large chemical companies, fertilizer manufacturers and other wholesale purchasers of these products. We operate primarily in the Gulf Coast region of the U.S., which is a major hub for petroleum refining, natural gas gathering and processing and support services for the exploration and production industry. Our diversified asset base enables us to offer our customers an integrated distribution network consisting of transportation terminalling, distribution and midstream logistical services. R.S. Martin, Jr. and wife Margaret move to Kilgore, Texas and purchase the first Butane Truck, which is driven by R.S.; They form Martin Butane Company and Margaret keeps the books. Martin Midstream was formed in 2002 by Martin Resource Management Corporation (“Martin Resource Management”), a privately-held company whose initial predecessor was incorporated in 1951 as a supplier of products and services to drilling rig contractors. Since then, Martin Resource Management has expanded its operations through acquisitions and internal expansion initiatives as its management identified and capitalized on the needs of producers and purchasers of hydrocarbon products and by-products and other bulk liquids. Historical business segments operated by Martin Resource Management provided Martin Midstream with decades of experience and a track record of customer service. Martin Midstream’s current lines of business have been developed and systematically integrated over a period of more than 60 years, including natural gas services (1950s); sulfur (1960s); marine transportation (late 1980s); and terminalling and storage (early 1990s). Our diversified and integrated sets of assets create a portfolio of midstream services that facilitate the maintenance of long-term customer relationships while encouraging the development of new customer relationships. Ruben S. Martin serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of our general partner. Mr. Martin has served in such capacities since June 2002. Mr. Martin has served as President of Martin Resource Management since 1981 and has served in various capacities within the company since 1974. Mr. Martin holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial management from the University of Arkansas. Mr. Martin was selected to serve as a director on our general partner’s Board of Directors due to his depth of knowledge of the Partnership, including its strategies, its operations, his business judgment and his position within the Partnership. Robert D. Bondurant serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of our general partner. Mr. Bondurant has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since June 2002 and joined the Board of Directors in 2014. Mr. Bondurant joined Martin Resource Management in 1983 as Controller and subsequently was appointed Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Board of Directors in 1990. Mr. Bondurant served in the audit department at Peat Marwick, Mitchell and Co from 1980 to 1983. Mr. Bondurant holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Texas. Randy Tauscher serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of our general partner. Mr. Tauscher has served in this capacity since May 2011. From November 2007 through July 2011, Mr. Tauscher served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Tauscher was employed by Koch Industries for over 18 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of the Koch Carbon Division. Mr. Tauscher earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Kansas State University. Chris Booth serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of our general partner. Mr. Booth has served as an officer of our general partner since February 2006. Mr. Booth joined Martin Resource Management in October 2005. Prior to joining Martin Resource Management, Mr. Booth was an attorney with the law firm of Mehaffy Weber located in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Booth holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from University of Houston. Additionally, Mr. Booth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Letourneau University. Mr. Booth is an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Joe McCreery is Vice President-Finance, and Head of Investor Relations for Martin Midstream Partners, LP, and Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr McCreery joined the partnership in February 2009 after a distinguished career in energy corporate finance specializing on master limited partnerships, project financing, and oil field services. Most recently, Mr. McCreery served as director of corporate energy at the investment banking firm, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to this, he was vice president of Debt Capital Markets, specializing in loan structure and syndication at ABN AMRO North America. Mr. McCreery holds a BBA in economics from the University of Miami in the Honors Program.
