The Market Mafia has become a passion project providing a creative outlet and opportunity to get involved in our community. The goal for Market Mafia is to establish ourselves as a user-friendly resource for vendors, marketeers and the greater Tampa Bay community alike. We hope to connect both residents and visitors with local events, link people with shared interests and to promote lasting positive partnerships within the community we love. Once this vision has been achieved in the greater Tampa Bay area, it’s our objective to expand the Market Mafia family’s presence to other unique, local loving cities throughout the state of Florida… and beyond. Market Mafia was established as a cheeky description for a group of people with a common passion for frequenting local markets, making a list of targets and hitting them on solo adventures, with friends or alongside family. Each Market Mafia is uniquely diverse…composed of spouses and partners, mothers and daughters, families, groups of likeminded friends, humans and their furry, four-legged companions. What kind of events can I expect to find on the Market Mafia calendar? At this time, our sole requirement is that the market/event includes handcrafted goods for sale. We feature markets that may offer live music, food and even produce, but at this time we are only including markets within the greater Tampa Bay area where local handcrafted goods are being sold and featured during the event.
