Growing up in suburban Surrey, Mark Harrison began to emulate his father’s fascination with the darkroom, producing prints of local actors for their Spotlight promo book. This gave him the opportunity to be a runner for a top fashion photographer-opening new opportunities for making a career out of photography.
Having studied for a Degree in Photography where he built up a portfolio of portraits of famous authors, commissions from Management Today and the Independent Magazine soon followed. Film & television work was added to his rosta following a regular gig for the Sunday Telegraph’s magazine. Many years on, he is shooting high end editorial mixed with advertising, corporate and book covers.
