Mark Caron is a self taught woodworker and artist from Phoenix, Arizona. His journey into woodturning started not too long ago when he was working for an Italian firearms manufacturer. Always intrigued by the woods being used for the heirloom grade rifles and shotguns, whenever he was at the factory he could always be found in the same place, the woodworking shop. Always full of questions and wonder as to the beauty and patterns that nature had bestowed upon the blanks for the stocks, and even more for the craftsmen that brought them to life and into their next form. Mark is devoted to creating fine hand crafted functional works of art, all of his pieces are hand turned on a wood lathe without the use of templates or duplicators. therefore, no two pieces are ever the same.
