ABOUT MARINEX CONSTRUCTION Founded by President F. Hammond Johnson, Marinex Construction, Inc. has been creating and maintaining marine transportation channels and shaping the shorelines of coastal communities from Norfolk, Virginia to Tampa, Florida since 1991. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, our mission is to provide our clients and partners with innovative solutions in harbor and channel improvement, environmental restoration, and containment construction and management. Having experienced dramatic changes in the dredging industry since his start in 1969, Johnson leads Marinex into the future with a commitment to progressive ideas and a pioneering philosophy. We continue to pave the way into the new era with cutting-edge technology including 3D Modeling and Road Works to enhance projects and communication with partners. With a team of more than 100 people, including many with upwards of 30 years in the dredging industry, we are proud to provide high-quality workmanship with an unwavering emphasis on safety and a culture that breeds excellence.
