William H. Marcus & Son�s passion and love for home building and renovations all started back in 1973 when Bill and Nan purchased their first �dream house�. In actuality, it was an 800 square foot bungalow in dire need of everything. Who would have thought that some 31 years later that this unsuspecting partnership would not only grow into a successful full-time business, but their son, Ian, would also inherit an eye for architectural detail and show an interest in the business.  Today, they are still fulfilling their passion and love in the custom home building and renovation business where a member of the Marcus family is involved in every stage of the project. The Marcus family still supervises virtually every aspect of development from site planning to the finished product.  They know the importance of being a good listener to what the customer wants in their dream house, and then using their knowledge, expertise to achieve that goal. They believe in building a relationship with the customer, one that is built on mutual trust and respect. A little about William H. Marcus & Son�s logo and its representation of their business philosophy and operating principles.  As a symbol of classic 18th and 19th century architecture, the Palladian window is also a fitting symbol for Marcus Homes. It represents the commitment of the Marcus family to create homes whose quality can be measured in the loving attention given to design nuances, the careful selection of appropriate architectural detailing, both inside and outside the home, as well as the importance of preserving the original character of a home that is often times overlooked in a renovation project . The window also represents the family's personal promise that every home they construct or renovate will be under their strict and constant supervision.   Further, William H.
