Established back in 2010 with a heartfelt mission to protect American Bald Eagles and the natural beauty of Marco Island, Florida, the Marco Eagle Sanctuary Foundation is all about safeguarding these majestic birds and their home for good. Based out of P.O. BOX 983 in Marco Island, FL, this not-for-profit organization is dedicated to an 11.6-acre haven where a breeding pair of bald eagles have made their nest at 665 Tigertail Court. The foundation's flagship project, the Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary, goes beyond just looking after these birds. They're constructing a Nature Learning Center right there in the preserve, serving as a beacon for learning about Marco Island’s rich past ecosystems while keeping other native species thriving.
