MARAJ Consulting and Creative Services (MARAJCCS) started in 2005 when Mary’s oldest nephew passed away unexpectedly in the arms of his mother while working 16 to 18 hours a day for a company since its inception.  The company decided they would not approve an extended leave as requested so that Mary could be with her sister and family during this difficult time.  At the same time, Mary’s oldest son was graduating from high school and his collegiate application required a sports video to accompany his scholarship application.  We purchased our first movie making program with all the bells and whistles.  Mary decided to take it further and started developing funeral videos for family and friends.  She also took family pictures and create storybooks and beautiful coffee books designed for mothers and grandmothers.  That is how MARAJ started.  (“M”ary, “A”bbey, “R”ivera, “A”ndrew, “J”ustin = MARAJ). Some of our family members have had to endure hardships and struggles as well.
