 Starting in 1976, The Maitland Rotary Art Festival has been and is currently produced by the Rotary Club of Maitland. The Maitland Rotary Art Festival is the only art festival in Florida with nighttime hours, surrounded by the beautiful ambiance around Lake Lily, the centerpiece of Maitland’s Cultural Corridor. Make the evening special as you and your date enjoy live entertainment from two stages provided in part by our Cultural Partner, Performing Arts of Maitland. Kemper went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a major in Ceramics and Painting at the Kansas City Arts Institute.  He also studied printmaking with post graduate work at the University of Oklahoma and photography at Napa Valley College.  While traveling through Europe, Southeast Asia and India, his curiosity led him to make photographs and paintings.  His professional experience most notably includes serving as a juror for over 15 various art festivals across the country, instructing classes, technical and production work and workshop co-ordination. Kemper has held exhibitions throughout the nation and has won numerous awards for his painting, photography, design and sculptures. He was also awarded Best in Show at the 40th Maitland Rotary Art Festival in 2016. His refuge, garden and studio are located in Napa, California where he continues to dream. provided in part by our Cultural Partner, Performing Arts of Maitland.
