David Mackey moved to South Florida as a young boy in 1965 and watched as his father got involved developing South Florida’s real estate in the early years. David returned from college, with an engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma, and joined his father in the South Florida real estate business. David and Dave Sr. developed and built a wide variety of real estate including single family neighborhoods, apartment buildings, strip malls, and industrial properties. As time passed, David found himself drawn towards the light industrial buildings and the businesses that use them. As an engineer, general contractor, and entrepreneur himself, he understands the small and medium size businesses that use the light industrial warehouses. He began building and acquiring multi-tenant light industrial warehouses in Palm Beach and Broward counties twenty years ago and over the years has developed a very thorough understanding and respect for South Florida’s small businesses. Steve Mackey grew up in South Florida spending his summers working on his father's warehouse construction sites. He attended Villanova University outside of Philadelphia and moved home soon after graduating to join the family real estate business. As with most family businesses, Steve is involved in all aspects of the business including leasing, management, acquisition, and development.
