The Lung Institute in Scottsdale is one of five clinics we have founded across the United States. Our goal is to help people with chronic lung illnesses. Many of our patients have COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema and other pulmonary conditions. Often, our patients have lost the ability to do everyday tasks like helping with dinner or doing the laundry. Some can’t participate in their favorite hobbies like gardening or singing in a choir. However, our unique treatment may help. Most treatments for these conditions have side effects and only work to mitigate symptoms. Our treatment works with your body to help promote healing. The procedures are minimally invasive and outpatient. We will be with you every step of the way. Many of our patients have seen incredible improvement in their conditions and their ability to enjoy life again. We are here for those with lung disease and their caretakers. In fact, you can travel around town to different attractions by horse drawn carriage. There are quite a few destinations that show you how important this area was in the western expansion of our country. Stop by the Old Adobe Mission to see the first Catholic church that popped up in the 1800s. It has the original adobe bricks used to build it. Make sure to stop by Saba’s Western Wear if you want to take home your own taste of western wear like a cowboy hat, boots or a western shirt. In the summer, the daytime is very hot, but keep in mind, most businesses have air conditioning to keep things cool. The evenings are tolerable and cool, even during the hot summers. There is a bit of rain in the winter, but it’s incredible to see flowers blooming in the late winter and early spring.
