I began my career in the Silicon Valley while attending SJSU in 1984. I became president of the Society of Latino Engineers & Scientists (SOLES) where I was able to meet engineering & business professionals throughout the valley. In the spring of 1984, I was offered a Co-op position at IBM in San Jose, CA. My career as an intern allowed me to develop my skill set in multiple areas, as I accepted opportunities in different geographical locations - a programmer at Cottle Road; working on relational data bases for the Shuttle and building networking labs & infrastructure in Houston, TX. In 1987, I became a full time professional at IBM and developed my technical & business skills as a HW Systems Engineer. In the spring of 1993, I accepted a position with HP in Sunnyvale, CA. The opportunity allowed me to contribute my networking & business skills to help consolidate all Bay Area HR IT infrastructure & applications to the Sunnyvale site. In the winter of 1995, I accepted an opportunity as a Networking Engineer in HP's Cupertino office. As an Engineer I managed multiple networking projects, that consisted of designing, developing & implementing new Networking infrastructure for several multiple-level HP Engineering Buildings and Engineering Labs. In the spring of 1997, my previous manager, the Director of HP's HR Services challenged me to accept an opportunity to become an IT Business Consultant, as she was in the process of consolidating HR Services at a national level. I accepted the opportunity. In the spring of 2004, the President/General Manager of NetVersant's Electronic Security Systems (ESS) invited me to join his dynamic team as an ESS Engineer/Estimator.  I'd be responsible for the engineering and estimating of enterprise wide security systems for medium to large businesses.  Currently, I'm designing security infrastructure for pre & awarded projects, estimating multiple million dollar bids, responsible for engineering sales support, on-site engineering/technical support and training. In the winter of 2005, a new challenging opportunity brought me to Securitas Systems.  As a Project Manager, I'll manage and provide security solutions for medium-sized to large customers, based on customer's needs.
