The Taylor John Band is a blues, soul and groove ensemble performing throughout the great State of Florida. The three founding members are Ken Budd (Guitar), Taylor John (Piano and Vocals) & Bob Nesbitt (Drums). Taylor John was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and was immersed in the arts at an early age. The son of an artist and a business owner Taylor is grounded with strong morals and beliefs which he expresses with conviction on stage and in the studio. At 35 he focuses his time and talents on composition, studio recording sessions and live performances. Formal training in music and dramatic arts with private studies in vocal and instrumental performance; along with years vested playing in front of a live audience provide this young artist the skills to deliver his message & genre blending sound with confidence and clarity. As a composer he has received recognition for his work by organizations such as the San Diego Songwriters Guild and The Grammy Recording Academy.
