Thank you for your interest in Lonjevity Farms. I am Farmer Jill and I grew up in Rochester, NY never imagining I would actually be a farmer one day! But life leads you on wonderful adventures and journeys and this has been the most fulfilling job (am I allowed to call it that?!?) I have ever had. I get to breathe fresh air, look out over fields of wonderful produce (snack on it all day) and take care of amazing farm animals. I know what we do is going to help people feel better and be healthier. Farming is hard work with long hours and no vacations, but it is so rewarding. When you hear the struggles people have gone through with cancer, autistic children, or a variety of other illnesses it's no wonder their doctors recommend they eat organic food. Our produce tastes great and is fresh! That is why I get up every morning with a smile on my face; to make people healthier! Hello! I am the farm dog Tiger. I was raised in New York City before finding my forever parents. I was always on a leash and didn’t know much about grass back then so I think being a farm dog is the best job in the world. I get to run around and take naps whenever I want. I also love to dig holes in the hopes of catching a mounder. Haven’t got one yet, but I sure do try. My favorite job though, is helping my mom and dad drive the tractor with the wind in my fur. Farm life is great!.
