Action Plan of Loggerhead Aquatics to Address Bullying
Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at Loggerhead Aquatics (the “Club”) and will not be tolerated. Bullying is counterproductive to team spirit and can be devastating to a victim. The Club is committed to providing a safe, caring and friendly environment for all of our members. If bullying does occur, all athletes and parents should know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. Anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell a coach, board member or athlete/mentor.
To spread the word that Loggerhead Aquaticstakes bullying seriously and that all swimmers and parents can be assured that they will be supported when bullying is reported.
The USA Swimming Code of Conduct defines bullying in 304.3.7. Bullying is the severe or repeated use by one or more USA Swimming members of oral, written, electronic or other technological expression, image, sound, data or intelligence of any nature (regardless of the method of transmission), or a physical act or gesture, or any combination thereof, directed at any other member that to a reasonably objective person has the effect of:

Coach Corley directs all phases of the Loggerhead program. Coach Corley has been involved in all phases of Loggerhead Aquatics, from it's inception, to it's current form. Coach Corley has been a professional coach since 1984. He is certified by the American Swimming Coaches Association as an ASCA Level 5 coach. By attaining Level 5 status, Coach Corley has demonstrated education, experience and achievement. As a Level 5 coach, this places him in the top 3-5% of competitive swimming coaches in the USA. (ASCA certifies coaches; levels 1-5, with 5 being the highest level attainable).
Coach Jill has been involved in swim coaching at all levels from swim lessons to summer league; high school to USA swimming. She has a passion for the sport and an appreciation for the dedication involved to reach goals. Most importantly, she loves helping kids learn to swim and enjoy the sport as well.
In addition to swim coaching, Jill is a personal trainer with a degree in Health Promotion and Behavior. She lives in St. Augustine with her husband and two sons who swim for Loggerhead Aquatics.
